Shirin got her start in San Francisco under the mentorship of beloved physical therapist and yoga anatomy instructor, Harvey Deutch of Red Hawk Physical Therapy where she learned the balance between the art and science of physical therapy and the importance of an attentive relationship between therapist and patient.
Practicing physical therapy since 1998, Shirin has developed her unique style encompassing a blend of classical physical therapy techniques with osteopathic methods such as Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation and Neuromeningeal Mobilization as well as a combination of yoga, pilates and Feldenkrais-based exercises for a truly personalized experience. The focus is always on you as an individual relying on support of the latest evidence with years of experience and a listening ear that responds to your body’s feedback. The combination has proven effective for people of all ages from newborn to senior.
Treating the whole family with expertise and intuition has been a hallmark of Shirin’s practice. Whether you are 0 or 100, Shirin will partner with you to facilitate healing, reduce pain, improve your function and guide you to tap into your body’s own resilience.
